Cool JR accepts the Ice Bucket Challenge

    The gauntlet has been dropped...

An online donation of $1000 has been made to ALS Canada. Let's please pray a cure is found.

    My challenge:

    1) The Calgary Shooting Centre - James, John and Markus
    2) Wolverine Supplies - John
    3) Wild West Shooting Centre - Ken K.

    \"J.R."\
    CEO

The Shooting Edge, Target Sports Canada, William Evans

The whole point of the ice bucket challenge is drench cheap people in ice water. If your donating, you don't have to drench yourself. Kinda eliminates the whole point of the cause if your doing both. I find that weird.

Good on them for donating though. ALS Is a terrible thing to go through.

No....the whole point is to raise money for ALSA so they can continue to fight/research ALS

I believe the intent was to donate $100 if you didn't dump ice water on yourself and $25 if you did
So its not just dumping ice water on you. Its to raise money and awareness for ALS

It upsets me to see all the celebs on social media that are getting drenched and (I assume) do not make a donation.

JR, you're a celeb of sorts - and I wanna say "Atta boy!" for stepping up and making the donation.
Even better, you still got wet in an effort to increase public awareness via the stunt/prank of it all.

No most of them are donating as well as getting drenched. They drench themselves anyway to add to the spirit of the challenge as well as donating, it started as pay or get drenched, then morphed into pay and get drenched. Makes for better viral video.
No such thing as too much ammunition or toilet paper...
