You may be thinking of the "LAR15" magazine. That's a pistol mag that holds ten rounds. That's the one for you.

    Will do.
    Thanks for the reply.
I can't really fault anyone for this, it's a magazine designed specifically for certain rifle.
I guess it's a crap shoot depending on your particular model, stock it's in etc etc
Guns only have two natural enemies; politicians and rust.

While I agree, I can honestly say I haven't come across any that weren't working in the "other" platforms, so I am a little curious as to why it isn't working. It could be just a bad one in the batch too, so we would like to find out on that as well

    Do your's look like this?

Wolverine, is the finish in the top right hand corner of the 2nd picture typical of the finish of these mags?

What is a A1A type rifle? Also when I used mine in the other rifle I had 1 fail to keep the bolt open on the last shot consistantly. Mag follower not going all the way up to engage bolt stop appears to be. No worries though as it seems to fit my AIA type rifles fine.

There are no "A1A " rifles.
I only know of "AIA" rifles.
Hope that doesn't cause a problem. Obviously someone confused one with I.
