The way I read it is they're replacing the humans on the line manually running lathes, drill presses and "cowboy" fitting certain parts with CNC machines that turn out the same part to the same spec every time. We should see better quality and more consistency.

But more modern designs, such as the Np22 and fewer complex designs like the JW21, etc

my only issue with high quality guns is the initial price. just a personal preference i would opt for a larger variety over higher quality in terms of budget limitations. in fact, ive come to enjoy tuning norinco firearms, and i do it for personal satisfaction not resale value. i agree they are a little rough around the edges but i have never had a problem with their products after some TLC.

For tinkering projects the Norinco's can't be beat.
