...frankly I never understood that line. Seems like an incomplete quote.
Okay well how about this one then,
    No, but thanks for asking.

    Howdy Mr. Wolverine,

I'm currently reading 'Unintended Consequences', by John Ross, and if you are familiar with it, you'll know that there is a lot of talk about hunting in Africa, and double-barreled rifles. It's all new to me, and when I saw that picture of your double, I thought I'd ask what it was, and any other info you'd feel like posting.

    I know you're a busy guy, but I thought I'd try.

    Cheers.

Mr. Wolverine is a little busy today so let me see if I can help. The rifle in the picture is a double barrel 8 bore cartridge rifle, made by Jos. Manton.

Thanks. It looks like the Rogers Rock & Co. 8 Bore Double Rifle that's on your site, but it's hard to tell, the picture being blurry when I zoom in on it, and me being a total noob.

Nope that's a different gun, there are a few different flavours of 8 bores around here

    Congratulations on 25 years.

John, may I ask, what did you do before Wolverine? Were you always in the firearms industry?

Another great thread, keep the pics coming.

Side question; Is Grumpy someones brother, that just couldn't find work elsewhere. Was it like a family obligation, to keep him from riding rail cars across Canada?
    Just curious is all....

    Cheers all

I just found this article on your site. http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/The...ight-Bore.aspx

I can only imagine the 'brisk' recoil.

Actually not as bad as you would think, more of a push than a sharp crack

First purchase at Wolverine happened to be the first firearm I ever bought and the first SMLE (BSA 1916).

Happy 25th and here's to many more
