^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Nabs, I would suggest that no one in a position to act was aware of the condition of the item you received. I would bet that whoever picked and packed that item doesn't take their job as seriously as they should, and that those that do, would fix this for you, if they were made aware. To err is human. Except me, I'm perfect.

That is possible. I did send the two pictures of the received barrel band, the same ones I shared on my first post, along with my RMA request along with a link to the advertisement page showing the barrel band as pictured on the website to aid in justifying a full refund request.

I can think of one reason some people aren't too impressed with Marstar.

Cause they got so much neat stuff that is "SOLD OUT"!

Personally I'd be bankrupt if they always had everything "In Stock".

But I was serviced well, with every order I did put in.:D

I am not yelling, however we have learned over the years that unless we reply in bold type in an effort to bring attention to our reply, many come back giving us hell that we did not reply....

Hello John,

I did contact Marstar in mid January 2014, the day after I noticed the credit card refund for the barrel band. I did not e-mail but instead called the 1-888 number and spoke to a lady (I'm sorry but her name escapes me after eight months) and was told that there was nothing that could be done with refunding of the re-stocking fee. Given it was $12 and, at the time, I chose not to argue about it over the phone.

As for e-mail now, the only things I could forward to you is the RMA e-mail (both my inquiry and the response from the service department) along with my the original order e-mail.

Please forward any information you may have,but I need your name or invoice number.... John
