    58s were made in 5.56mm and 7.62 NATO in the 60s and 9mm in the 90s.

    Right. But the other caliber's for 9mm and 22lr between the two platforms are new.

    Sure. In 9x19. They are talking about how they make the standard caliber's (223, x39 and 9mm), and have expanded to new 9mm based caliber's, 22lr and 222.

    That would be very cool. I'd be down for an original 15.5 version.

    The vz61 has an OAL with extended folding stock of 517mm. That is 20.35 inches. Put it in a vz68 style stock and you get very close to non restricted status in 22lr. Slightly longer barrel would do it.

    they should just slap an 18.5 on the current vz 61, ya it would look dumb, but still would be cool
