Savage AXIS II vs MODEL 11/111 INTERNATIONAL TROPHY HUNTER XP

I check for a bolt action gun with scope combo around 500$ in 308.

The axis II is a little bit lighter than the trophy hunter.
Except 100$ of difference between these 2 guns what is the difference?
Is this trophy hunter worth the price?

    Both have :
    Accutrigger
    22" carbon steel barrel
    1:10 twist rate
    detachable box magazine (4 Rounds)
    Synthetic sotck
    Nokia 3x9x40 scope (I think)

I went through the same questions. I believe the only difference is that the trophy hunter has a little bit better of a action. But I could be wrong. I figured its not like I'm going to be shooting even 500 rounds a year so I saved myself a hundred bucks and bought some other ammo and goodies I like my savage 2. Better trigger and scope than my axis. Only thing is that the magazine is a bugger to get in. I'm a little worried it's just going to snap when I go out in November.

Yes, the Trophy Hunter has the 10/110 action.

Also .... Axis II has a $50 manufacture rebate compare to $75 rebate of the Trophy Hunter.

Get the 11, the action and stock are better as is the magazine.. Everything else is pretty much equal.

Get the 11 so when you decide to build a custom you already got an action.

I've never owned an Axis, but have a few 10/110s and I think they are a great value. Most other manufacturers have copied it as well.

The action is much smoother in the 111 and the stock is also not as flimsy, being heavier on the handgrip and foregrip. I have a weaver kaspa on the 111 which is a better scope than the bushnell on the axis.
