I'm pretty sure that most of you are already aware that 2014 is the year of The Wolverine, or more specifically Wolverine Supplies 25th Anniversary!
We've decided that to help kick off our anniversary month (which is October) we would offer up a little contest that should be a lot of fun for everyone.
This contest is open to everyone, no purchase necessary, and you can enter more than once.
We are looking for a Wolverine Supplies design to be used on shirts etc., designed by you and approved by you!
The contest will run from 1 October 2014 until 30 October 2014.
The staff here will pick their favourite 5 designs that have been submitted on the 30th.
On Halloween or All Hallows Eve (31 October 2014) we will start a poll which will allow YOU....YES YOU!!! the members here to vote for your
favourite design of the 5 we narrow it down to.
The voting will stay open until 3 November 2014 at which time the winner will be announced.
The winner will be awarded a Wolverine Supplies apparel/swag package as well as a shirt with their winning design on it as soon as they become available.
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGMENTS OR "BORROWING" OF GRAPHICS PLEASE!!!
Other than that there really isn't any rules, but we are going to offer up a few suggestions that we like you to try and adhere too please.
The design does not need to be one aimed at the 25th anniversary as it may be something that continues to be used if we desire.
1. If at all possible, please keep the design down to three colors or less, as more colors add to the cost of the shirts.
2. Please keep the designs tasteful with no rude words, slogans or blatant nudity. (I know taste is an individual thing, but try and keep it with the realm of normally acceptable...guess that lets out any of my entries)
3. When planning your design think of something that might be used on more than just shirts and can be scaled down for use as a chest emblem etc.
4. Wolverine Supplies reserves the right to refuse or remove any design we deem inappropriate etc. Also once the winning design is chosen, it becomes sole property of Wolverine Supplies.
How do you enter you ask? Well let me tell you how this is going to work.
We are asking you to post your design in here for all to see and send us a copy of the design along with your name, address and phone number to grumpy@wolverinesupplies.com with the subject line of design contest.
So you have a few days to start planning out your strategy and dusting off the crayons! We can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
