What's the situation with parts for these pistols should we need them?

I'd buy one with a 106mm barrel, making it restricted. Unfortunately, it definitely takes away the beauty of a compact pistol, by doing this.

I just noticed at the end of the video in the first post that it said lifetime warranty. Does this apply for us as well?

Warranty period is up to the importer. If the US importer provides a lifetime warranty, there's a good chance it won't have to be sent in for servicing

Can't speak for the Steyr, but I own a G17 gen4 and newly acquired the Bersa T9 and as far as accuracy is concerned, the G17 hits way more accurate, well for me anyways. This was from 10 yards w 115g fmj. I had .5 to 1 inch groupings with the G17 and the Bersa was WAYYY off. However the Bersa T9 is brand new and not "broken in" as they say. As far as FTF or FTE both Bersa and the G17 where a non issue. Bersa is great looking, feels great, eats everything I feed it, butis not more accurate than my G17. Mind u there are a lot of different variables not mentioned.

I own the 3 of them and i would rate them this way
    1 Steyr L9 A1...
    2 Bersa T3...
    3 G17L...
For all the reasons you gave... While the 3 are very good, it will be hard to take #1 away from the Steyr... Just saying. JP.
