It isn't because there is no more of it in China. They might make new production if they ever get the shipping situation sorted out but it won't be as cheap.

My thoughts exactly. I never thought I'd want a Norinco product so bad. It looks like if I want to shoot for less than 50 cents a round, my options are steel-case or reloading for .223/5.56.Why didn't i stock up on 4 crates...
I wish I had bought more than the 4 crates.....

Where do you buy the steel case stuff?
Tulammo has best priced steel case that i've seen with $10 shipping. other than that you are looking at federal for around $450/1000.
