    I won't even use WD40 on rusty bolts on cars. Its garbage. Throwing water on a rusty bolt would be the same effect as using WD40. Seafoam Deep Creep gets my vote.

    It would kinda do the opposite of getting the bolt wet.

    Ain't even allowed on Navy Ships. Honey goo, or 3 in 1, is much better. I just use diesel syn engine oil. If can withstand the abuse a diesel engine can produce, then good enough for my guns.

    I don't think the stuff I bought from Canada ammo had any of that.
