It's a frighten AR of course it's restricted
On characteristics alone this should be easy to see.
Very interested, but how hard is it to find AK mags in Canada?
CCFR, CSSA, NFA
So restricted? If not I'd buy. The cost is high so what's the bonus?
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.
You should bring in pinned Steel mags as well (preferably Europe surplus)... All plastic mags I have tried failed at some point... Usually, the latch lug shears off or wear off... And many plastic mags are oversize and do not fit well... I use them in an SKS-D and would probably buy a few steel mags...
I checked these out at SHOT, very nice rifles. There won't be any issues with the bolt as they used a 7.62 AR bolt as a base, not a 5.56. They had a 5.56 bolt that had been milled out for 7.62x39 for a comparison to their bolt....night and day difference. The Mk47 bolt is very beefy, with lots of meat around the locking lugs. $1999 is approximately $500 off the CMMG MSRP in their catalog. Take exchange, etc into account and it's not a bad price. Also, the Magpul AK mag seats and detaches very smoothly. It's a very well-designed rifle from the ground up. I will be getting one.
