BTW, I guesstimate that with gear, rifle, and supplies, I'm probably closing in on 300lbs. Are the 36" models sufficient?

Indeed, like MEC but with guns and Multicam. Love it.

Less expensive.

A few of the GV look similar in style.

I haven't held or used them so it's hard to compare quality wise.
