    benelli m4 replacment mag tubes

We are looking at making some of these.
That being the ones that will replace the factory neutered guns we see in Canada, and some US states.
This will be a direct replacement, unscrew the neutered part of the factor mag and install ours, will use the same spring and followers.
It will be high quality steel and controlled gas nitride finished.
Any thoughts, ideas or feedback on this project?

How is it different than a mag tube extension?

I'm always interested in new things though.

Match the finish, make it long enough to hold 5.9 three inch rounds, and get rid of that awful shock absorber looking section and you'll sell one for every M4 in the country.

I'll buy one, if I like it, I'll buy 3 more for my other M4's so they aren't jealous.

Aluminum, is a bad idea for mag tubes as when aluminum tubing takes a hit it splits instead of dents, steel, and high quality steel like 4140,4350 does not do this.
Also due to the fact we are working with fixed dimentions , as in the ID and OD of the tube and the space it needs to fit, we can,t just make the mag tube thicker, this is what one would need to do in order, to look at using aluminum and make is a quality part.
Also magtubes on shotgun are on the underside of a gun, so even if you are not going commando with the gun you still run the risk of striking the mag tube of something hard, our magtubes made from 4140, 4350 same stuff our AR15 Bbls are made from is much stronger, we also can do out CGNE finish, controlled gas nitride finish, which is a heat treatment, nitride, oxy and Teflon finish, the makes the metal tough long lasting and requires no lube.
Lastly it is only 4 microns thick, so we can machine the part perfect without having to adjust to surface buildup.
Its is just the way we like to do things, we build things that people can bet there life on, and many of our clients do, as we sell our products all over the world .But if you are just a regular joe, you get a world class product that will last you your life time and have a high resale value if needed as our products and is guaranteed for life, even if you are not the first owner.
