Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.

Shipping with the holidays is always a crap shoot, my wife has a direct selling home based business and she has had boxes from the same order shipped to the same person at the same time arrive a week apart.
Canada Post says mine arrives today.

The next shipment is being packed as I write this....
I simply stated that we would offer a 10% rebate to all of the orders placed and later cancelled when the stock ran out
I did ask that the customers drop us a note with details, several did.
