S&j sj-15

Well, I have held off buying an AR style rifle, even with the recent drop in their prices, it will be interesting to see if these are competitive, and if an ar-10 will be available as I will most definitely give a Canadian company my money before any other!

As for price being competive, that depends what you are looking for.
Will it be DPMS/offsure parts stuff price point no.
Will it be the KAC/ LMT price. No.
Will is be in the $1000-$1300 range with more value added bonus and parts then anything forsale? Yes
Things like high grade bbl. 9310 bolt ambi safety choice of finish like cerakote of hydro dipped at no extra cost
All steel parts to be controled gas nitride finish+ gray oxy teflon finish. Gun lock, BFG vickers sling cleaning kit. Oww and of course a 10rd mag

Forgot to ask, any chance of a piston upper or piston conversion kit? Thanks.

Piston system has been completed, but we are still in long tem testing to make sure we don't have bolt carrier tilt that is a known issue with piston system.
They will only be for carbine and mid lenght but will be on all of our 762x39 guns as well.
All steel parts will be control gas nitrided as well

nice looking metal,
is the the magwell broached or EDM machined?
just wondering....if EDM......sky is now the limit of what you can do.
i like that....sign of very cool things to come.

yes of course, the issue is cost a prototype time, that's the issues.
Our AR15,s have been in the works for 3yrs now, we would have come out with them this time last year, the bottom fell out of the market.
Not that the price is ant better then the start of the year, but we have another market other then Canada we will be filling, so if all goes well we will have them for sale in Canada.

Would love to the an AR47 but we just don't have the funding, to do another big project.

Completely understandable.
Would have been nice tho as i dont feel like spending 2k on a cmmg version. Rather keep my money on Canadian made products.

Goodluck with the rifles man, they look amazing!!!!!

I think the CMMG. Is that price because they are rolling in as much of the deveopment cost as they can into the first bunch. No need. For that price on a production gun.

That the plan for sure, need to get a lot of rounds down range. On the test guns.
When do you think they will hit the market?
Just my thoughts, but would be nice to throw a small Canadian flag on it somewhere!
edit; now I see a stylized flag included in your logo!

That OD green build is right up my alley. How much do these weigh in at? Lots of rail there, but I like what I see.

You know did not even weigh any of them yet,the forend looks like a standard old school quad rail, but its 30% skinnyer them most. Also we may be doing away for 70% on th m1913 spec rail on the sides.but a few of are undersided.
