    Yes, as an AR variant, which is ridiculous, in my opinion.

    The only reason I asked is because it doesn't appear that you could easily fit an AR15 upper, or conversely, fit this upper to an AR15 lower. The reason I assumed restricted, well, because this is Canada and the RCMP are running the show.

    The upper is similar to a Rock River Arms PDS, you can bolt directly to any AR lower and it will work just fine.

    The sig upper will work on any ar lower, it was designed to be backward compatible with ar's.

    Well don't I look stupid now. I figured with the modified bolt carrier there wouldn't be any compatibility between this and and a regular AR15.

    Is this Sig's take on the LR300?
