Norinco 7.62x39 ammo crate description error.

I was speaking to Chris from canadaammo and he noted that Norinco 7.62x39 ammo crate
was mistakenly labelled as steel core.

I've asked him to correct this but have not heard back from him.

Can someone confirm that this is indeed non steel core?

It most likely is steel core. Its cheaper to make, thats why they do it. The price alone would dictate steel core.

It could be copper wash steel jacket with a lead core. Best way to tell is to pull one and cut it open.

Any of them will likely have a bimetallic jacket so the magnet will stick even if it's lead cored.
