so this may be a newbie type question but i just dont post much and im on here nearly every day. still says im a cgn newbie. curious how many posts and such to get to a regular seeing as im on here every day and would concider myself a silent regular. haha

Has to do with the number of posts on the regular forums. Some of 'em, like this one, don't count. Doesn't mean much anyway.
Just go to that introduction page, make sure you have 'hello' copied so you can machine-gun paste. 1000 posts as quick as ya can click

But I can't figure out how to start a new thread asking this question or to post an add on the EE using the app? I have no problems using the full site. Hoping for help! Thanks!

Visit any forum you have access to, such as general firearms, at the top left above where you see all the various posts there is a button, "Post New Thread", click that and you should be good to go.

Yup. Got it. In the app it's not labeled new post, it's just that other button up there in the right hand corner. Duh. I should have tried it first! Thanks!
