I'd imagine the delay is due to ITAR.
They are very hard to obtain in Canada.
I have heard of a few people (only through posts above) who have had one shipped to Canada - but I've yet to run into a dealer who has them in the states who will ship to Canada.
We probably won't be getting any more due to various reasons.
