RPAL Interview Questions?

Hi everybody,
I have my pal and have decided to challenge the rpal before c-42 goes thru the the course in mandatory. I'm not nervous just wanted to see if anyone can help me out and give me a heads up on the kind of questions the RCMP ask before they call, so I'm not complete unprepared. thanks in advance.

Why are you expecting an interview of any kind?

I thought that when you applied for your RPAL that they called you and your references for a phone interview as part of the process?

Tip for you, answer "No" to everything, haha. They want to know if you are suicidal, a drunk or drug user, lost a job recently, devorced or dumped recently, on meds for a mental condition and a few others. If you're concerned, maybe you should look in the mirror BRO. ( just buggin, it's no big deal )

Don't just answer "no", answer honestly. Either way, they'll find the truth. Best it comes from you.

They'll also ask; "why do you want a gun? (pistol/restricted)
There's only 2 "right" answers.

If you're challenging, I'm sure you already know the answer(s).

I just received my RPAL , never got a call. They did call one of my references.

I was never called. I called them asking if they needed it as it had been taking a while for my application. They said no, they had no questions for me, and to just get one reference to call in and it was listed as approved on their website about a minute after my reference got off the phone.

They only called one of my references, and never contacted me. Next thing my Dad called me and said the RCMP had contacted him and asked him if I had a drinking or drug problem and if he knew what types of firearms I would be able to purchase, the call was less then 2 min. long, and I had RPAL card in hand less then 7 days after that.

What did he say? "Hunting rifles and guns"? Because the answer to that can get quite technical and of course non-shooting references wouldn't have a clue.
