TacSol has surprised us again with a massive shipment of accessories, rifles, and barrels! We were not expecting this until early February but got the good word last week that these were headed on up. The shipment includes the ever-popular X-Ring barrels for 10/22s just got a stock refresher, along with the new SB-X Tapered Barrel for the 10/22 Takedown rifle!

I was looking at these on their website and was wondering how permanent the shrouds are? I would be very tempted to pick one up and take off the shroud as this would not effect barrel length yet would yield a shorter barrel than the factory barrels.
