Not to sidetrack but are the DVC grips available separately?
    Thanks

At SHOT, one of my first questions to STI was "Would the component parts of the DVCs be available for sale separately?"
The answer I got was "Yes."
Problem is, STI had no idea how popular the DVCs were going to be and all parts are headed to building guns at this time.
They can't offer the component parts until demand subsides for the pistols.

I'll be repeating my question quarterly, but I don't expect STI to make these new parts available until at least summer.

No. STI says the first order that I placed just before SHOT show should arrive in the late May time frame, and before it's asked - that order is sold out.
Anyone ordering DVCs today should expect delivery in the summer-late summer time frame.
So the picture of the Limited on your site is not exactly as picture shows ?, a limited will not have ports? Am I confused ? been looking at this as a possible purchase, want to know for sure.

Yes, you must be confused. The picture is accurate. It doesn't show any barrel ports in the Limited; just lightening cuts in the slide.

Ok ! Newbie I guess, unaware of the difference between porting and Lightning cuts..... thanks I thought any opening in the slide was a port. In my defence I've heard experienced folks call Lightning cuts "porting" lol Thank you for the clarification.

Hello just want to inquire if the late May time frame is still on schedule to arrive for the DVCs. Thank you.

STI is delayed and we're trying to get details on which of our orders are delayed and how long.
At this exact minute, all I'm sure of is if I place a new order for one for a customer today; it's going to be 30 weeks.

If you have a DVC on order with us, it's best if you send us an email with your real name and we can get back to you with your delivery info when we get an update from them. If you have one on order with one of our dealers, contact them and they will check on it for you.

Still waiting..... Patiently or Impatiently depending on my frame of mind
Since ordering this thing at Shot Show, I have bought no fewer than 4 new high end shooters to try and placate the need for more toys

STI Tactical 5.0 2011 in 45 - this is badass
STI Match Master to give Open class a shot
STI Apeiro brand new to match my current STD gun as a back up
    and finally
a very nice SV Infinity in .40 - this piece is just ridiculous, an expensive toy but I am happy to own it. Nothing I have comes close to this in fit an finish. Smooth, pretty and fast, oh so fast !
