    flip side is that with 1.25 CAN$rate they are pushing 1500!

    Too bad! I think they would fly off the shelf in that $1000-$1100 range. Put them into the Kimber price bracket and it may be a tough sell.

    At 1500$ I might still be interested. I don't know much about howas. I've been looking at tikka's , sako's and ruger hawkeyes. I don't mind spending my budget as long as I get a good quality rifle. The thread caught my eye and I googled a few images of the alpine mountain rifle , it's sharp looking but I know nothing about them. Off to google I go ...
