It is more front to rear and on the out of spec mags it is VERY noticeable.

What are you going to do with the out of spec ones? Does the manufacturer get to eat the cost or do you?

Sucks...especially since the delay of releasing them due to and i quote "The local company who is now making them for us is great but like us very anal, hence more delays than planned, but we want these to be the very best damn mags on the planet."
So anal that they totally screwed up the dimensions of the mags?

So I tested the new ones against the old ones and the new ones do have a bit more front to back movement. Not much but noticeable. I measured both and they are:

Old ones made by CAA: 63mm front to back
New ones: 61.5mm front to back

Guess I got the bad batch?

I know you guys will take care of this but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed that some of these came out of spec and now have to wait a few more months for the replacements. Hopefully you guys will sort out QA with this new supplier.

We are trying to work this out, but in any event whether we take the hit or they do, our clients will not.
Anyone can screw up, what really matters is how it is dealt with.

Hey I just checked the 5 I got from you as well. Definitely some movement front to back in all of them but I don't have anything to compare to aside from some pmags which definitely do not move as much. I'm not 100% sure so is it worth sending it back to you? Mine just shipped and arrived earlier this week if that helps. Thoughts?

I just checked the 6 mags I picked up from your store almost two weeks ago, yes they do move front to back more than all my other mags. I'll contact Derek at the RDSC.

So these mags are made out of polymer? And called at15 pistol mag. But its not in any rcmp data even as an example. So if we get stopped with one of these how do we explain to the popo that these at15 mags are the same as the LAR mags? Sorry if im being ignorant but I just cant undrestand it. Please explain

If they move a fair bit more than P mags do, they are out of spec.
Scan and email your invoice to the shop and we can proceed with how to solve this for you.
