While looking for some 40 S&W ammo in our warehouse I ran across some ammunition that was bought from a law enforcement distributor a few years back. As the price of new FMJ ammo is creeping up there this ammo is starting to become cost effective. It is Winchester Ranger Law Enforcement Ammunition, 165 and 180 grn T- series. This is copper hollow point, nickel plated casings that is seldom sold into the civilian market in Canada. This ammunition is the evolution after "Black Talon" was determined to be too scary a name for ammo that LEO's would carry. Very effective expansion with near 100% weight retention. Many LE departments use this for their duty load. $30/box of 50 or $270 for case of 500. Part # for 165 grn is RA40TA. Phil.
