Means sold pending funds and usually they replace the price with that
My bus ticket to hell was bought and paid for long ago, just waiting for the driver to finish his coffee & cigarette so we can get this show on the road.

Not long ago it was science fiction. Now its a reality but the term has stayed.
Someone agreed to buy it, But waiting for payment. If someone doesn't pay up, It goes back up forsale.
It would be nice if they left the price in the ad as well, when they add the spf.
