Does the SKS still cycle properly with a shortened barrel?

Is there any need to modify the gas system?

We have ordered a 14x1lh 3 prong flash hider for the final test, should do that test with a video on Thursday or Friday.
In the last test we will be zeroing the scope, then firing a group, then removing the entire mount and re-installing it and shooting another group to test for repeat-ability of the mount after disassembly for cleaning.

We reccomend using an aluminum or other soft material automotive crush washer for the Tapco slant brake and the also use a drop of Loctite 263 on the thread.

The factory sight comes off easy with the Matrix Precision Parts sight remover, per his video, we have used one of his on Mini 30 and WOW! it makes it EASY!
