We have been working on a new Trueshot SKS Front Sight/ Thread adapters for those who wish to remove their front bayo sleeves/ sight assembly or cut their barrels down, when cut like the video, the barrel will be 18.7" no problem retaining non restricted status, faster handling & a way nicer, cleaner look! We tried to get the AK look & added a AK threaded front portion to it so you can now add any AK style brake to complete the look! These are standard SKS height, so you can use the original sights, but the new rear mount scope mount uses a built in rear mount adjustable peep sight & scope mount all in one.These are just finishing prototype stage & we will have pricing & stocking dates shortly. Just wanted some feedback on what you guys think, let us know!!

Can you give the specs/ parts list for this configuration?? I love the video set-up, sight and all! I've got 2 sks' that I may need to have outfitted as such!!

Nice! Looks good, be great for anyone looking to hotrod the sks.

Does this use standard SKS front sight posts?

Is anyone making a "normal" fibre optic front sight for the SKS anymore??? The Williams Firesight seems bright enough, but doesn't seem to allow full sight adjustment for a full proper zero. The HiViz looks great, but may be loose in threads, but the fibre is so tiny small as to effectively be no different than a standard iron sight.

Back five or so years ago, NEA had made some red fibre optic front sights for the Vz58/ CZ858, and those worked well. Does anyone have something like that in the works???
 
We dont know the cost till landed, but we are hating the USA $ exchange right now....

Here is the mount, low profile to use the same plane as the factory sights or the new front sight, rock solid, it mounts over the cover. It has the advantage of a much longer sight plane & fully adjustable, similar to our very popular Tech sight, but with a built in low profile scope mount incorporated as well.
