SAM 1911 Tactical Commander. Threaded barrel protector will not come off.

    Hello,

Just bought one of these and I am having problem with removing the threaded barrel protector, it seems like it is seized. To remove it, is it counter clockwise or clockwise like an HK?

Have you had any problems with these?

    Thanks

They are a little stiff when new, just a little elbow grease or a few rounds through it seem to help. As stated, counter clockwise looking towards barrel.

I will try again, just about used up my whole tub of elbow grease.

    Thanks.
