    Question Moving to BC

    Hey troops,

Am a bit lazy going through the book here.

Just because my wife's planning to move to BC and I'd purchased some toys from you guys including a restricted. Question is, what requires me to bring all of it there? Any difference living in BC than in AB?

Thanks for helping out. And more power.

Make sure the CFO knows your change of address in advance and short term ATTs for the firearms. I believe that's all. I bought a restricted from a shop in AB and once the transfer was approved I phoned the CFO and was given a short term ATT in about 15 minutes by email, printed it out. Then I was able to bring it back home to B.C. and wait for the registration to arrive and then pew pew pew!

When I left alberta for bc, I was issued a short term ATT. Once you join a shooting club in BC contact the CFR for a long term ATT. The short term ATT was issued for a 3 day period so make sure you know the dates of the move when arranging fir the short term ATT.
