We can do that and I would also personally appreciate it in 3/8ths, I use a 12x12 in 3/8th because I do, like you, mostly .308 and down. The 3/8 12x12 is about 6 lbs lighter then the 1/2 of the same size. If you want I can put your name down for a 3/8th idpa target. Just can't say with 100% certainty when we are going to buy 3/8ths as for some reason it isnt as popular.

I dont know the exact numbers but probably around $160 but we would have to wait until we had a decent sized order of 3/8ths. I like the 3/8ths personally but it doesnt sell as well as the 1/2".

regular chinese surplus 5.56 will penetrate 1/4" ar500 at 15m. But that wouldnt be a recommended safe distance for shooting steel with a rifle. I would recommend 50m minimum safe distance.
Still taking pre orders on these. Last batch all 4 were sold practically while they were being made so let us know ahead of time so that we dont make too few again. We will probably start cautiously with these because they are the biggest and most expensive target we sell at the moment. I am thinking of cutting 10 from our next slab of steel.
