    Not an AK. Very different, interesting action. Look into it. This and the AN-91 are very unique firearms.

    I'd be interested to know how much of a difference the counterbalance system makes in just semiauto.

    Yes, please make this happen! The AEK 971 is one of my favorite weapons I use in Battlefield 4. I would love a semi auto AEK 971!

    Thats a prototype, they have more finalized models doen up for the Russian Army Trials. If we got a nice 5.56 semiauto, it would look more like this.

    Once again we are dreaming that a military contractor will invest time and money into making a civi version for the tiny Canadian market. Would be nice, but not at all likely.
