I've done the same with my Strobe feature. The box says it will "tactically disorient" so I need to know how badly they will be tactically disoriented just like spraying yourself with OC Spray

Or hitting yourself with a baton, or shooting the vest while you are wearing it, etc etc.

At some point, one comes up with better evaluation methods.

I hear staring at the sun is a great way to see how sunny it's going to be for the day.

I do that with every single cylindrical shaped object be it ,a loaded gun ,a laser ,a flashlight ,a garden hose ,a carl gustav, tank barrels ,the exhaust on my diesel truck, man holes, simply put i want to win the darwin award many say this is not something you want to win but i don't see them with one and once i win it i will join an elite club of humans that have never been affected by the silly notions of fear, self reliance , and the most evil one of all common sense. If this made you laugh please check out my stuff for sale on equipment exchange. i have 1 item left based on my post here i definitely think many agree i most certainly should not have it. so someone come buy it from me.
