    Public Service Announcment

    Not sure why but it always seems that when trying out flashlights a number of people always decide to shine them in their own face.

    It might be ok with some of those checkout line display flashlights, but when you start getting over 200 lumens, it's a different ballgame.

    Please don't do this. Please aim it at the ceiling or we can turn out some lights for you.

    Huh? That's how I check my garden hose whenever the water stops... it always makes it start again.

    Some people aren't very bright. Dim, even.

    The OP has kindly enlightened us. Some were in the dark about this issue. A bit of a news flash.

    totaly correct i see it all the time. what do people think the light is going to ook like. Ohh thats right F***** bright.LOL

    I do it. But my lights are meant for self defense / illumination purposes so I like to test the level of blindness caused. One quick blip does this. I also don't buy flashlights very often so I'm not worried about my vision deteriorating that much.
