Pretty cool little pistol carbine but I would be hard pressed to give up my sub 2000 for it!
Are you allowed to eat doughnuts private Pyle?
I'm right handed. Me for the charging handle must be on the right hand side of the firearm. The ASR can only have its charging handle on the right. Case ejection can be either side. I have it set up to eject on the left, into a brass catcher, leaving the charging handle free from obstruction. This is the most optimum configuration for me. BTW, the ASR is a pretty sweet carbine. I just need to find a better sighting system.

Its pretty substantial thickness of aluminum alloy. My guess is its probably stronger/thicker than an AR15 receiver. But... still light as we should expect from a pistol cartridge carbine.
If this is consistently reliable out of the box for all new users, this one will be a winner, and the competition will have to up theur game dramatically. IMO.
Are the barrels threaded on the end?
How many rounds do you guys figure the ASR will last before having to replace something? Currently stuck between choosing this or the Beretta CX4 for plinking out in the bush.

I own a cx4 storm and jr carbine and recently got to fire an AsR. My fav is my jr in .45 acp. If they ever release Asr in .45 acp I'll buy it.
