Pretty cool little pistol carbine but I would be hard pressed to give up my sub 2000 for it!

I briefly owned a Sub 2000 and after handling the TNW I would have to say this is definitely a step above the Kel Tec in terms of the quality of fit and finish.

The weight of the aero is up there, but it's built like a tank. If they get the charginging handle on the left, I will be all over this baby. I won't look at the new gen2 sub2000 that is anticipated in the fall of 2015.
I'm right handed. Me for the charging handle must be on the right hand side of the firearm. The ASR can only have its charging handle on the right. Case ejection can be either side. I have it set up to eject on the left, into a brass catcher, leaving the charging handle free from obstruction. This is the most optimum configuration for me. BTW, the ASR is a pretty sweet carbine. I just need to find a better sighting system.

Its pretty substantial thickness of aluminum alloy. My guess is its probably stronger/thicker than an AR15 receiver. But... still light as we should expect from a pistol cartridge carbine.

If this is consistently reliable out of the box for all new users, this one will be a winner, and the competition will have to up theur game dramatically. IMO.

How many rounds do you guys figure the ASR will last before having to replace something? Currently stuck between choosing this or the Beretta CX4 for plinking out in the bush.
