    Magpul UBR Stock

Wolverines.. Question for you regarding your Magpul UBR stock: Because this comes with it's own buffer tube extension, do you know if I will be able to successfully install this in place of my existing 'commercial spec' tube on my AR? (Can't seem to find an answer for this - Or if it only installs into existing 'mil-spec' tubes..? How does the threading of a mil-spec tube compare to a commercial?)

Threading is the same on any receiver and tube.

So that's a yes? It will fit? Is the diameter of the tube the same where it screws into the upper?

Why on are there two different specs on these? It's almost like Apple switching up charger sizes so more manufacturers have to carry more SKUs and consumers have to buy more product for no reason other then for Apple to make more $$. Why doesn't the industry just use the mil-spec size tube???
