It is unfortunate that your order was scooped. In the past we had products in the shopping carts removed from stock to avoid this but many customers would leave their carts full for days and even months in some cases which would cause huge inventory problems. We are working on a solution where the shopping cart would remove product from stock but also have a time out feature that would automatically empty the cart after a certain amount of time.
