SKS to AR mag adapter prototype

I had considered getting ahold of a H&K SL8 AR magwell to try to fit it up so this definitely piques my interest. My biggest curiosity surrounds the design and functionality of the mag release. Any details?

Yep I am interested but it would come down to cost and either a really simple DIY modification or arranging some sort of service.

Does it require a mill? Or will a dremmel, hand files and a few hours suffice?

I don't know why you guys care about the bolt mod, that's the easiest thing to do, doing the reciever with a Dremel would be a gong show, I got a smith to milk mine out. Makes it look stock and your not totally destroying the reciever

The lengths we have to go through to gain the magazine capacity the rifle had to begin with.

I'd be down for one...eventually. I've already sunk a lot more into my SKS than I paid for the gun so that's not an issue for me.

I'm still working on a CNC conversion on my milling machine but I would do the conversions once my machine is done.
