Had a good chuckle reading this thread. The Korean Garands story seems to have more legs than the 9/11 conspiracy theories. People were talking about those Garands when I joined CGN 10+ years ago.
How many are monitoring this thread purely in hopes that John will come in and deliver one of his epic bolded smackdowns upon the greatest armchair expert in the thread?

Because WWII surplus Garands, that weigh 9lbs, are long and almost impossible to conceal, fire expensive ammo, and are finicky about it, are the gun of choice for your average gang banger.
Or maybe he's just waiting for Crapco to go out of business, to preserve the integrity of the last stockpile of them.
