Are these rear sights compatible on a Garand? I read that the M14 NM FRONT sight isn't.

And also, no NM aperture hood on these NM rear sights?

M14 and M1 garand use the same rear sights..... real M14(and BM59) are in Meters , M1A and Garand are in yards
NM apertures come hooded or non hooded
M14 and M1 garand front sights are not the same and not interchangeable

and by the way....... 99.00 is an absolutely smoking price on those guys

I though that the national match sights were only the hooded type. (And that was how you could tell the difference.)

    negative

A correct NM aperture has the gear teeth cut for NM graduations, to match an NM elevation pinion, and an NM sized peep hole (I believe there might be 2 sizes?) and comes in an adjustable hooded version and a non hooded version.

Has anyone had issues throwing these on Norc m14 or do they swap straight in with no tweaking?

Thanks for clearing up some info on these. I also did a bit of googling and see that these have 1/2 MOA clicks in them. I guess that relates to the teeth pitch. Will be interesting to see how it compares to my (NOS) Beretta (PB) rear sight assy.
