Some fit right in easily and others may need a little modification to have them fit it, they can fit in any SKS. It is nothing a dremel or file can't fix. For the most part pretty easy though. Tapco Mags are pinned to 5 and are in stock @ $29.99

I've never seen the SKS in a Timbersmith stock before. Don't mind the looks of that at all.

Is disassembly as straightforward as the traditional SKS?

Can just the stock be purchased?
