I got this plus trigger spring kit and a LAR mag on the way, now to just find a nice but not too nice SKS to chop up. Not interested in chopping up my unrefurbbed 54 Tula.
I like guns....
I really like the idea of this. Might make me want to actually get an SKS.
Funny thing is, for that price, you could buy a second SKS and just new york reload.

When I decided to have one built out, I thought of the cost .. then thought of the cost for me to replace / repair etc... I had considered the cost of a 858 and I decided on a good sks build instead. I think I made the right decision, with accessories for the sks now, you can't go wrong.

I figure that even if we somehow get our magazine capacity laws rescinded then I still have a semi auto rifle in 7.62X39 capable of taking AR mags, which isn't a bad thing. If that ever happens I'm not sure if you can get a drum magazine in 7.62, but I would get one in a heartbeat if you could.

XCR mag or LAR? You might have a problem with x39 in a LAR mag lol.
XCR mags are not LAR mags.
Big difference here guys.
