How much inletting will need to be done on the original stock to get this to fit? Any?
Yes, inletting on the stock is required as well as the receiver, we will do a video on a complete installation later this week!

I have a question on the design of the magwell, is there a reason that the mag release was not on the left hand side or rear of the magwell? Was this an engineering constraint?
