I bought one last year from kahntrol and it works great, and the fit is excellent.

    Crunching numbers from the video:
Without the brake, the reviewer measured jumps of 3.34, 3.88, and 3.99 inches. Average 3.74
    With the brake, 0.68, 0.68, 0.93 inches. Average 0.76

Decrease in recoil jump = 80%

However, the reviewer made a serious error -- since he marked the fronts of the final positions, he should have measured from the front of the starting circle. By measuring the distance (0.93 inches) from the back of the starting circle to the C line, I estimate the circle to be about 1.6 inches in diameter. Adding this to the numbers above, we get:
    Without brake 3.74+1.6=5.34 inches
    With brake 0.76+1.6=2.36 inches

Decrease in recoil jump = 56%

This is still a huge decrease -- over half -- but does not take into account the static friction (stiction) of the sled on the table that must be overcome before there is any movement at all.

Conclusion -- actual felt recoil will be reduced by somewhat less than half but more than enough to make it worthwhile.

I was surprised that they released the vid with such a glaring error. most brakes are in that reduction percentage. what I was watching was the amount of muzzle flip. same both times. hard to find clamp ons, so good for those who want one.

On the Kahntrol site for the KSMB615 brake has two options "up to 338" model and a "338 to .50" model. Which one do you so stock or do you have both because I don't see the option on your website? Thanks in advance.
