This modified 1892 cut down version comes with adjustable rear iron sights and a heightened front site to take in account of the shorter barrel.

I have the Chiappa Mare's Laig take down.
All I need is the conventional butt stock.
I wonder if that part is available alone.
It'll take just a minute or two to change out the stocks.

I drilled and tapped the octagonal barrel of my Chiappa Mare's Laig (44 Mag) and installed a scope base.
I mounted a 2X long eye relief pistol scope on Warne QD rings and it works like a charm with my old eyes.
All I need is a conventional butt stock.

The Chiappa Winchester 92 based Mare's Laigs and rifles are very well made.
The workmanship, functionality amd wood to metal fit are great.
The wood is very attractive and real walnut unlike the Rossi versons.
