We had a chance to take out an AR-SKS adapter set up on a Russian SKS, kept the wood stock on for the purists, LOL. The adapters have a last shot hold open, drop free & allow stripper clips to load your mags, hey, a built in mag loader.....in 200 rds, the only failure to feed were the first round from stripper clip loading 10 rds, we found 8 rds fed much better into the XCR mags, but all 10 go if you fiddle a bit. Way too much fun! We have them in stock now, HERE.

Yes you can buy another SKS for that , but you still wont shoot as fast.
Have you tried a loader device to load magazines from stripper clips while not attached to the rifle? (Like the mag loaders for Ar15 mags for example )
