Barrett Firearms has had the M98Bravo out for awhile now. This platform has been so popular that they decided to offer it
in a few versions and we just happen to have one of them in stock right now.
The new Barrett M98B Fieldcraft!
Ole Grumpy and Mounted Wolverine got a chance to put one of these rifles through it's paces on range day at the shot show.
The rifle we shot was in 7mm Remington magnum. We were both able to ring the steel rams at 600 yards and beyond with not problems at all.
We were both incredibly impressed with the Fieldcraft. This rifle can really be considered a multi-purpose firearm.
Here's why:
The fieldcraft comes in a few calibers as of right now. 7mm Remington Mag, 300 Winchester mag and 308 win, 6.5 creedmore and 260 Remington..
Barrel length on the magnums is 24" inches and 18' for the 308. The barrels have a threaded muzzle and a lighter
contour barrel (still beefy not skinny) which lightens the rifle up a lot and improves the ability to use this rifle offhand.
It has an 8" 20MOA rail on the top, so lots for a scope. They come with a 10 round magazine and are available in a variety of colours.
This rifle is still light enough with a scope on it to carry it hunting, but is still built for precision use, so don't be scared to take it out to competition.
Price on the Fieldcraft rifle is $5305.00 plus shipping and tax.
