X 3. I won't go near an 870, the quality control on the express is a joke. Finish, prone to rust and extraction issues (just google it). Remington isn't what it used to be.

If you're going to run it hard with high round count, it's the one to get.
If you're tacticool with low round count, anything will do...

ive heard of them jamming with the cheap low brass rounds but never had it happen myself after thousands of rounds... guess I got lucky

My wingmaster jams with the cheap aluminum head shells. Have to pump it pretty hard sometimes. Brass is fine.

Any Remington dealer will tell you (well, they won't, but can you blame them for that?) that except for finish, trigger guard (plastic is actually more robust) and wood stock there is a whole $30 difference in small parts between Express and Police versions.

I'd put my Magpul Express up against any 870 in a function test.
It's fit and finish surpasses the regular the Express Tacticals, and performs like a fine tuned machine.
