thanks to Dave at Hical I got this back yesterday.
started out as a everyday numbers matching 1954 Russian sks
Kicklite stock with optional adjustable cheekrest , foregrip , rear sight removed along with the front sight and bayonet lug .. the barrel is chopped to 18.6 and threaded .. true shot front sight with added muzzle break along with true shot scope mount and ncstar 3-9 x 42 tactical scope .. I have 2 pro mag shorty mags and 1 tapco banana clip , but may add the 10rd mag adapter at a later date not quite sure yet.. yes I know the trigger lock is missing .. it went back on after the pic .. I had just finished assembling the rifle and then took the pics..

Im big on shedding weight and optimizing comfort.
This comes after having many different configurations of the rifle and realizing just how important comfort is when holding, reloading, pointing and aiming a rifle for hours on end.

The rifle is a lazer in the intrafuse stock. So I'm not fighting it.
I also created 3 hand hold positions. Magwell, vertical grip and handstop.

A novel idea, mod an SKS based purely on comfort, anti fatigue and accuracy instead of appearance...

This was my second rifle I bought and accessorized. It came with just a Tapco and a stock SKS.

The pressure switch is selectable between laser or flashlight.

The tri-rail makes it muzzle heavy. I've read that the cheap eBay optic may not be able to be seen during the day. LOL! you know, I've only shot it indoors and haven't checked it out in the sun yet. The laser can't be seen in the daylight, I know that for sure. Other than that, it shoots about as accurate as an SKS can get.

Like EL34/6L6 said, this bad boy is the typical made for looks type of SKS. I pull it out of the safe to show friends who don't own guns and they all go "Wow!! That thing is bad ass!" I don't think any of my guns would wow anyone on this site. You guys are all hard core!!
